PAYMENT SECURITY, CANCELLATION & REFUND

Towards ensuring this:

  • Information storage is on secure computers and information is encrypted wherever possible
  • When you transact on our Site, you are assigned a User Name and Customer Security Codes and then use these codes to access your account
  • All messages between us travel in a secure messaging environment
  • We monitor and review transactions on an on-going basis, to identify potentially fraudulent situations and take immediate corrective steps to mitigate/limit any damage caused/likely to be caused from the same
  • We review our security arrangements continuously

 

Refund & Cancellation

1) HOTEL:

Cancellation Policy:

  • The Cancellation Policies of the Hotels are dynamic and may change from time to time. The Cancellation policy of the Hotel may change in the interim period of booking and date of stay of the Guest. The Cancellation Policy prevailing at the time of check in/cancellation of the booking by the Customer will be the applicable policy.
  • Hotels being booked may have their own cancellation policy and may charge user accordingly.
  • In the event of Cancellation the money shall be debited from your credit card directly by the Hotel as per Cancellation Policy of the Hotel.
  • On cancellation of bookings done using promotional codes, the hotel cancellation charges are calculated on total price before discount. For such bookings, an additional Lataar.com cancellation charge of Rs.500, whichever is minimum will be deducted from the refund amount after applying the hotel cancellation policy.
  • Cancellations can be done online as well through our call-centre.
  • Only those cancellation requests which are made either online or on the phone to our customer support team shall be entertained. The Company shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating the Company and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.
  • If you don't show up at the hotel, you'll still be charged the entire amount and hotel will debit the amount from your card directly.

Modifications & Refunds:

  • The company do not accept amendment request to the hotel reservation if the check in is within 48 Hours.
  • The Company doesn't support changes and modifications to online bookings once they're made.
  • All the refunds shall be done by the Hotel directly to you and the Company is not responsible to ensuring any refunds whatsoever.
  • Your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

2) CAR RENTAL

Cancellation Policies:

  • If a traveler cancels 24 hours prior the pick-up time, 10% of the total trip cost will be deducted.
  • If a traveler cancels within 24 hours prior the pick-up time, no refund.
  • The refunds will be made by online transfer to the customer’s bank account. No cash refund requests.
  • The amount will be refunded approximately within 7 business days.

3) SIGHTSEEING

If, for any reason, you decide to cancel your confirmed bookings, you will be credited with the appropriate amount through the way it was debited as per the cancellation policy applicable. Cancellation charges vary from product to product and are displayed on on the product details page of our website. When canceling the booking you will be notified via email of the total cancellation fees.

For bookings awaiting confirmation, please note: While your request is being processed, we cannot take a cancellation request during this period (up to 2 working days). Some of our tours require us to re-confirm availability, for this reason we put the charge on hold on your card. The amount on hold is not charged until the tour is confirmed. This confirmation process can take up to 2 working days and we cannot accept another request until we receive a confirmation. You may cancel or amend your booking after confirmation as per the applicable cancellation policy.
